It’s time to review SOD’s double-feature pairing, led by Hikari Aozora and Rei Kamiki in START-498, which comes with a partner-swapping theme because their sexual chemistry with their own husbands just doesn’t match up. If you can find the full version, this one runs close to five hours, so this review probably won’t go into every single detail. The movie starts with Hikari and Rei talking about their frustrations in their sex lives. Eventually they both end up convincing their husbands to try something new by visiting a sex club. Everyone wears masks so they won’t feel embarrassed or get recognized, and of course condoms are required so there’s no risk of catching anything. But by coincidence both couples show up on the same night. The four of them split up to explore the club separately. Things kick off when Hikari runs into Rei’s husband first, without realizing who he is. She invites him to test each other’s skills. Hikari, who initially seems calm and composed, suddenly flips into a teasing, shameless seductress, aggressively pushing the guy almost the entire time in a room surrounded by other couples fucking around them. Eventually the guy starts taking control too, pounding her pretty hard. Right when they’re about to finish, they both take off their masks and realize who they actually are. On Rei’s side, Hikari’s husband approaches her and invites her to try having sex as well. Naturally they’re both masked and can’t recognize each other. There’s a short scene where Rei plays with herself, and another moment where the guy rubs his cock across her face, honestly one of the scenes where Rei looks insanely sexy. After they finally start fucking, they also remove their masks and discover the truth. Camera work in Rei’s scene feels better overall, at least in how it highlights the curves and proportions of her body. From what you can gather from the story, Rei’s couple seems more shy, while Hikari’s couple clearly enjoys sex a lot more openly. Another thing I liked is the set design of the sex club, it really creates a messy, steamy atmosphere. After that, the two women keep in touch and eventually invite each other to go work out together, bringing their husbands along. This time things get awkward because they start recognizing each other. Rei takes Hikari’s husband around the gym and eventually into the sauna, where he makes his move on her right there. You rarely see sex scenes set in a sauna, so it feels pretty fresh visually. Too bad Rei isn’t still wearing her workout outfit, though. The low upward camera angle during the creampie shot is fantastic. Meanwhile on the other side, while they’re exercising, Hikari recognizes Rei’s husband and launches into him right there in the gym with a fiery attack. She’s seriously horny and aggressive throughout this movie. By the end of the scene both women realize the other one just had sex with their husband moments ago. Eventually they talk things out and decide to settle things with a four-person party together. Once everyone gets drunk enough, Hikari starts things with Rei’s husband first, while Hikari’s husband invites Rei to do the same. It turns into two couples having sex at the same time, each person watching their spouse getting fucked by someone else. After the first creampie they switch partners back. One charming detail in this scene is that both couples perform the same positions almost in sync. Then Hikari jumps in to help double-team Rei’s husband, turning it into a brief 2-on-1 situation. Hikari and Rei take turns getting fucked before Hikari’s husband rejoins and they start swapping partners back and forth again, eventually finishing by cumming into their mouths. There’s even a bonus moment where both women share the same cock with their mouths at the same time, plus some behind-the-scenes footage. Overall, this is a pretty solid partner-swapping movie. The camera work and filming quality are good, and you can clearly see the development of the characters’ relationships, especially in the final scene. That said, it would’ve been nice to see Hikari’s husband take control and dominate both girls more aggressively, and the four-person interaction could’ve been even messier. The movie leans more toward separate pairs doing synchronized positions rather than full chaotic group play.
